Meet Lizzie
Hi, I’m Lizzie
A little bit about me - I am a 20-something Georgia native, married to my best friend, who, with his nod & wink, still makes me blush. The best (and cutest) part of both of us was born on New Year’s Day, and she’s not only brought light & life to our family but has also been the brightness 2020 needs - amiright? Hattie is our wildest dream come true, and we’re still wondering what we did to deserve her.
My husband would say I am fairly predictable, but I like to keep him on his toes by bouncing between 5, what I like to call, “passion projects”, and what he sees as my excuse to spend money. I prefer staying at home over traveling, rewatching movies over watching new ones, coffee over tea, small town over city, and the Georgia National Fair over all else.
After 3.5 years at Georgia Southern University, I finished my undergrad at Liberty University with a degree in Religion: Christian Ministries. Currently, I serve on staff at our church as the Women’s Ministry Director.
What to Expect
The last thing we need is more noise. But the only thing we need is Jesus. I hope that is what you find here. I believe that I am here to encourage and equip women to know God deeply, love Him intimately, and follow Him obediently through the understanding and study of His Word. There truly is nothing more worthy of our devotion.
Writing has always been a source of guiding my heart back to God’s. It’s where I find alignment in desires, submission to callings, and permission from perfection. Put plainly, it’s how I “work out my salvation” (Phil. 2:12). Topics around here will range from theology to the Bachelorette… okay, probably not, but you get the idea… we’ll discuss life. Feel free to reach out with questions or anything you’d like to see covered.
